Our Story
Steeped in over half a century of local lore, this establishment has stood as a cornerstone of the community through a revolving door of identities. Longtime patrons may recall its previous incarnations as The Buckhorn, Jackie's Place, Billie's, The Sand Bar and the Iron Mule Saloon. In 2015, we took our place in this storied lineage, rechristening the site as The Famous Roadhouse Saloon. Our "fame" isn't merely a title; it is a legacy built by the characters who walk through our doors. We honor the spirit of the old West with straight-shooting hospitality and a touch of the wild, hosting everything from live bands on the weekends, karaoke nights, motorcycle fun runs and bonfires to the more eccentric traditions of Jell-o Wrestling Tournaments and MicroMania Wrestling Events.

Whether you come for the award-winning fare or the unfiltered comedy of our local regulars, you’re stepping into a living history. We invite you to pull up a stool and become part of the next chapter.
